Recipe #2: Mushroom SPAMwiches
Thick slabs of Spam (4 from 1 block of Spam), marinated in mushroom gravy and poultry seasoning. Grilled, and placed on toasted buns, with tomato, mushrooms and provolone Cheese. Can't say this one will be my favorite. The thick slab of spam is overwhelming and the whole thing is hard to eat because it tends to slide side to side. My Sweet Alexandra says, "The first bite is delicious, but the meat is too thick and it doesn't work at all with the mushroom sauce and tomato." We're giving this recipe 1 out of 4 stars.

Yes, it is bad enough to have to fight a sandwich to stay together while you try to maneuver it to your mouth. But then to discover that it is Spam once it hits your tongue is anticlimactic. The tomato and cheese sound good; how did the mushrooms add to it? Looking forward to the next recipe (as I bet you are).
